From 12/2015 (Gold’s Gym Challenge) ~ I describe the Fall Challenge for me a line from a song comes to mind. "Sometimes life gets in the way", really came home to prove it's point! For me this challenge was an emotional one as well as physical. At the beginning of the challenge in October, my father-in-law had a heart attack and how do you help a sick family member and exercise and eat right when you want to do neither? Make it a habit! Had I not worked with Barbara Tumm for the past year, there is no way I could have helped my father-in-law get in and out of the car for treatments, nor help him walk. Nor could I have helped my husband through this difficult time had I been as unhealthy as I was even a year ago. Even though my father-in-law passed, I was able to quickly get back in the healthy habits I had learned from Barbara. It's still hard and life sometimes still gets in the way, but with regular exercise and a healthy diet it helps with the mind, body and the spirit. Without the encouragement and help we received from our trainer, myself and my husband would have had a much harder time. I was really worried the stress and grief would cause my husbands heart issues to act up, but because Barbara was there for us every step of the way it did not. I have learned that exercise does not just make you stronger physically but, mentally and emotionally.

Chad M. Cottrell (Nov. 2014) ~ would like to thank my personal trainer Barbara Tumm. Since August of 2011 I have suffered from the following heart conditions: sick sinus syndrome, atrial and ventricular tachycardia. A pacemaker implant was among one of the many surgical procedures I have had since the above mentioned date. Due to medicine and lack of activity, I had become obese.
This past September, I received a phone call from Barbara informing me about the Challenge. I addressed my concerns to her. She answered all of my questions with understanding and compassion. From day one of the challenge, Barbara gave me advice on healthier eating choices and what exercises I could do that would be safe for my conditions. She made each workout session unique and fun. She was able to keep me motivated without using a "Drill Sgt. mentality.
Gold's Gym made the proclamation: "Give us 8 weeks will give you a new body" . That statement could not be more true because of Barbara Tumm. I have lost a considerable amount of weight, my cloathes no longer fit, and words cannot explain how much better I feel.
In conclusion, I just want to say "hats off to my personal trainer and to Gold's Gym,
Tasha M.
If you’re seeking genuine spiritual guidance, comfort in times of uncertainty, or simply a deeper connection to your own path, Barbara is the one to see. She is a beautiful soul whose gift brings peace and direction to those fortunate enough to cross her path.
Barbara is truly a gift. From the very first moment, her presence feels calming and reassuring—like speaking with someone who understands not just your words, but the energy behind them. Her insights are incredibly accurate and delivered with compassion, never judgment. She has a rare ability to make you feel seen, supported, and gently guided toward clarity.
What sets Barbara apart is not only her intuition but also the way she combines wisdom with warmth. She creates a safe space where you can open up, and she offers guidance that feels empowering rather than directive. Every session leaves me lighter, more grounded, and more hopeful about what’s ahead. I absolutely love Barbara.
Gratitude~
